I t is very important to prioritise Mental Health  at all times because with a healthy mind you can achieve a lot in life. Having a healthy mind will help you improve in many aspects of your life such as being proactive at work or at school, a good memory, have extra energy to do certain things, etc. I am going to share few tips for Mental Health with you. Try them and see the difference.

1. Build your confidence

Identify your abilities and weaknesses together, accept them, build on them and do the best with what you have. Don’t focus on anyone else’s abilities but your own. Once you do this, you will end up comparing yourself with others and this isn’t healthy.

2. Eat balanced diet.

Eating a balanced diet also contributes to our healthy minds. You must make sure that you eat a balanced diet, exercise and rest in order to help you to reduce stress and enjoy life.

3. Spend time with your loved ones.

Relationships play a crucial role in our lives. A sustainable relationship contributes to happiness and health living. Do not take any relationship you might have for granted.

4. Give and accept support

You are not alone; why not offload some stuff to your family. This will make it easy for you. However you must be willing to help them when they need your assistance. This will cultivate your relationship and becomes even stronger.

5. Manage your finances well.

Financial problems cause stress is common to most people. We all have unlimited wants and limited liabilities. Make sure that you spend your money on your needs than wants.

6. Keep yourself busy.

The best way to keep yourself busy all time is by volunteering on community projects. Being involved in community gives a sense of purpose and satisfaction that paid work cannot.

7. Manage stress

We all have difficult times in our lives, this may lead to stress. There are many easy ways to manage stress. Try to take a walk and be with other people if that helps. We all have different ways to manage stress. Make sure you do what you have to do before it overwhelms you. Remember a stress free mind is a healthy one…

8. Don’t bottle your problems

Keeping your problems to yourself is not healthy sometimes. Try to share it with people who had similar problems before. This may help you find a solution and will make you feel less isolated.

9. Identify and deal with moods

We all need to find safe and constructive ways to express our feelings of anger, sadness, joy and fear. Once you identify your moods. find appropriate ways to deal with them.

10. Don’t be too hard on yourself

Try to be at peace with yourself. Get to know who you are, what makes you really happy (then do it), and learn to balance what you can and cannot change about yourself.
