Millions of people all around the world including you and me live extremely busy lives. In this fast paced world, we do not always get time to go to a gym for a full workout. Sometimes time and resources are limited, however you do not have to exercise intensively or run marathons to get a good, decent workout.

We have a suggestion for you. Why not opt for Yoga? A 20 minute session in your own home everyday can do wonders for your mind and body.

According to an online source, “the word yoga means “union” in Sanskrit, the language of ancient India where yoga originated. We can think of the union occurring between the mind, body and spirit. Yoga refers to the practice of physical postures or pose.”

So why is yoga good for you? Yoga is effective for improved breathing, stress reductions, strength, increased flexibility, improved posture, decreased back pain, massaging of all organs and excellent toning of muscles.

2. Keep your ‘workout area’ clean and clear of objects and obstacles

3. Try to work in a room that has wooden floors Set the mood with good music

4. Meditate – Relax your mind while your are relaxing your body

5. Practicing yoga on a regular bases will make it easier and more fun
